Are you interested in helping your town? Don’t miss this volunteer opportunity as the town of Burnt Hills Ballston Lake comes together to pitch in and clean up around the community!
The Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Business & Professional Association and the Ballston Lake Improvement Association are seeking volunteers to join in with scores of local residents, business people and town authorities who will be participating in the community’s annual Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Those wishing to volunteers are asked to meet at the Ballston Lake Fire House at 8 am on Saturday, May 5th to receive their assignments and free tee shirts, donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate! All are welcome to participate including families, individuals, scout troops, church groups, and students in need of community service hours and projects. Volunteers will receive free tee shirts, donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate!
The annual event, which dates back to the mid-1970s is organized as a partnership with the Ballston Lake Improvement Association (BLIA), the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Business and Professional Association (BH-BLBPA) and the Town of Ballston.
*The project involves doing a clean sweep of accumulated winter debris on local roadways. Participants are urged to wear gloves and closed toed shoes.
