How would your little buccaneer like to dress up as a pirate and join the BLIA “boat float” in the BH-BL BPA’s Community Flag Day Parade on Thursday, June 7? We’re letting you know our theme in advance so your youngsters can start to plan their “look”! All it really takes is a white shirt and bandana; but your kiddo might want to embellish her/his look with vests, sashes, jewelry, hats, and homemade cardboard swords and foil hooks! Look to Pinterest for the coolest pirate garb ideas.
We will meet near the entrance to the football field in the BH-BL High School parking lot no later than 6:30 pm on parade night (June 7). Jon Andersen from Andersen Boat will provide a beautiful pontoon boat for us to ride in. Bigger kids can walk and hand out specially chosen pirate related prizes to kids along the way. Water squirters and bubble blowers are welcome. Please contact Joanne DeVoe 518 573-0773 if you are planning on participating.
